User Group 2010 - Summary of Events
Our 6th Annual User Group Conference was held from 9th-10th December in Berlin, Germany, during a particularly cold spell across Europe. Despite problems the weather caused with international travel, hotel clients convening at the NH Berlin-Mitte came from all around the world, including Germany, UK, Ireland, Spain, Poland, France, Sweden, Norway Denmark and the US.
The venue proved to be the ideal choice due to its central location, the proximity to the Christmas market on the Gendarmenmarkt, and also due to the excellent service and facilities at the hotel. There was a good atmosphere from the start and it was great to see the interaction between different users as the event progressed.
The main topics of discussion this year were Pricing and Market Research. Attendees were given some excellent presentations by the EasyRMS team and by Senior Executives from First Hotels, Accor Hotels & Resorts, NH Hotels and Choice Hotels & Resorts. They were also given the opportunity to take part in a series of advanced user training sessions aimed at guiding the user towards the next level of EzRMS™ expertise.
During the gala dinner, many of the discussions that had started during the day continued well into the early hours of the morning, in good old EasyRMS fashion. Opinions were voiced in an open manner and many complex RM topics and strategies were defined for the coming year.
So, once again, the EzRMS™ User Group Conference turned out to be a real success for both EasyRMS as well as for the attendees. We will be organising this annual event again for 2011 so make sure you pencil it in your diary and plan it in your budget - it will certainly be worthwhile, looking forward to seeing you there!
